Person drives off from Roma servo after paying with fake money

Not real enough

A Roma petrol station has been hit with a fraud after a person allegedly paid for their fuel with counterfeit money.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the unknown offender attended a Quintin St service station and allegedly tendered a fake $100 note.

They then left the premises.

Police investigations are continuing and anyone with information can call police and quote the reference number: QP2002613916.

Open sesame

On the same day, a separate offence occurred on the corner of Wyndham and Bowen Streets in Roma.

Unknown offenders have allegedly damaged the door of a building at 11.20pm, according to a QPS spokeswoman.

Investigations are continuing.
