Police find 12 kg of Cannabis in Warwick four wheel drive

A MAN will face court tomorrow after police found a large quantity of Cannabis hidden in a vehicle at Warwick. 

At around 1.15pm Saturday afternoon officers performing patrols on the Cunningham Highway intercepted a four wheel drive.

It will be alleged that during a subsequent search of the vehicle officers located sealed packages containing Cannabis secreted beneath the floor.

The vehicle was seized and police will allege they located in total over 12 kilograms of Cannabis within the vehicle.

A 58-year-old Victorian man has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs, supplying dangerous drugs and possessing anything used in the commission of crime. He is expected to appear at the Warwick Magistrates Court on Monday.
