Police investigating assault of young girl in Roma

Police are investigating an incident where a 12-year-old girl was allegedly assaulted by another person in Roma.
Constable Rory Akermanis said the assault happened on the corner of Timbury and Cottell Streets between 11.40am and 12.15pm on March 19.
The suspect is another female.
Investigations are continuing.
