Police issue warning after counterfeit money used in Roma

A police investigation has been launched after counterfeit money was used at a Roma business this week.

Police will allege a 31-year-old local woman paid for fuel on Monday morning with a $100 note which was later identified as counerfeit.

The investigation is ongoing, with Roma police reminding residents to be careful that fake notes money could be circulating throughout town.
