Police probe how baby died at family day care centre
POLICE are investigating how a baby died in a family day care centre in Brisbane's south.
Paramedics were called to the centre on Wallace Street at Moorooka about 10.40am but one father with a child at the centre reportedly didn't find out about the death until Wednesday afternoon.
Detective Inspector Steve Flori said the death wasn't suspicious but warranted further investigation into how the children were cared for.
"When police were looking through the premises generally to check on its condition they found some locked doors and when those doors have been opened, they've actually found children in some of the rooms," he told 7 News.
A parent with a child at the centre, Andy Chien, told the station he had a lot of questions.
