
Roma men charged after stolen Drag Club ute found
A ute that was allegedly stolen from a Roma’s IronBark Raceway has been found by police, but the two suspects have been charged with a slew of other offences as well.
Roma police Constable Rory Akermanis said the Toyota Landcruiser was found bogged at Euthulla about 8.10pm on March 18.
“Police believe they found stolen items in there,” Constable Akermanis said.
A 32-year-old Roma man was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possessing marijuana seeds, and possessing a drug utensil.
Another Roma man, 38, was also charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He’s also charged with offences from an alleged separate incident, with burglary and entering premises with intent to commit an indictable offence from Wallumbilla.
They will appear in court at a later date.
