
Second man held over alleged Caloundra armed robbery
A 25-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and charged for allegedly robbing a Caloundra cinema.
Travis Ryan McNeil was arrested on Friday and appeared in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Saturday morning.
Police allege he and another man entered Big Screen Cinemas in Bulcock St about 5.30pm on May 8 and threatened two employees with a firearm before getting away with a sum of cash.
McNeil did not apply for bail on Saturday and was kept in custody for his matters to next be mentioned on June 30.
McNeil was the second man to be charged over the incident, with 22-year-old Tyran Lee Oakhill charged on the night of the alleged robbery.
