
Qld suburb locked down over 'suspicious device'
POLICE have established an exclusion zone and declared an emergency situation north of Brisbane after a suspicious device was found.

Earlier today police attended an address at Fortune St, Scarborough and discovered a suspicious device.
A PSPA was declared at 3.30pm and police have established an exclusion zone bounded by Fortune St, 2nd Ave, 5th Ave and the water front.
Specialist police arrived on scene and the device was destroyed.The lockdown was lifted shortly before 6pm.
