IS this the longest waterslide in Australia or the world?

A video of the home-made slide, built for Australia Day, called the Slip and Bleed has now been viewed almost three million times.

The video was posted by Queenslander Kirsty McKavanagh to her Facebook page.

It features a man named Daz soaping up the slide on their family farm and slipping down the hillside for 30 seconds.

"You'll have to start charging, it's going viral, you'll have people travelling from other countries next year to try out the Slip and Bleed at Old McKavanagh's farm," Carly-Ann Heathwood-Roberts quipped.

"Need some snags cooking down there for the trip back up haha," Shane Holzapfel said.

Other posts made it clear the slide was booked out.

A later video shows eight of McKavangh's family members end their run in a spectacular crash.

Little wonder the slide has its bleeding reputation.
