Town rallies behind family of mum killed in crash

THE Cecil Plains community is continuing to rally behind the family of a young mother killed in a traffic crash on Saturday night.
Elissa Flanagan died at the Toowoomba Hospital from injuries sustained in a single vehicle rollover on the Toowoomba-Cecil Plains Rd.
The mother-of-five had been returning to her home in Cecil Plains from Toowoomba when tragedy struck.

Various community fundraisers have been established to financially support her long-term partner Rob Whitby and their children.
An online gofundme.com fundraiser has raised more than $1400 for the family.
Ms Flanagan was a dedicated volunteer and gave tirelessly to the community.
She was deputy of the local SES and gave her time freely to a variety of initiatives, as well as school sports carnivals and campaigns.
