Taxi driver threatened, robbed by knife-wielding thief

Police are investigating after a taxi driver was robbed at knife point in Redbank Plains early this morning.

It is alleged the vehicle was called to an address at Waxberry Crt just before 4.30am.

A male offender then entered the cab, produced a knife and threatened the driver.

The driver handed over an amount of cash before the thief got out of the car and fled the scene on foot.

Police are looking for a Caucasian man, thought to be in his early 20s and about 180cm tall.
