Teen arrested for alleged surprise attack on other boy

Roma police have charged a teenager after allegedly luring another young person to his house and attacked him by surprise.
Constable Rory Akermanis said the 16-year-old boy is accused of punching the victim, another 16-year-old boy, in the head and body between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on March 9.
“The suspect lured the victim into the suspect’s residence before attacking him by surprise,” Constable Akermanis said.
He has been charged on March 14 with common assault and had his first Children’s Court mention yesterday.
The boy is remanded in custody.
