Thieves snatch four CCTV cameras from unit on Fraser Coast

BRAZEN thieves stole four CCTV cameras from a unit on the Fraser Coast.

Police said the offenders walked up the front stairs and unplugged two cameras attached to the building near the door.

It is believed they then climbed over a locked gate and removed two more cameras from the rear of the unit.

Police said the owner was away in Brisbane at the time.

Four cameras worth close to $300 were stolen from the property on Freshwater St in Hervey Bay.

The unit wasn't broken into.
