Toddler injured in crash
A toddler has been taken by ambulance to Cairns Hospital in a stable condition with seatbelt injuries following a two-vehicle crash on the Kuranda Range this morning.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a woman was also being assessed on the scene and treated for neck pain.
The ambulance was called at 10.25am.
Police closed the road at Henry Ross Lookout for more than an hour but lanes in both directions reopened just before noon.

East Trinity - two-vehicle crash
Paramedics responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash involving a tree on Bessie Street and Pine Creek Yarrabah Road at 4.31am. Three patients were assessed at the scene, two declined transport and the third was transported to Cairns Hospital in a stable condition with spinal precautions.

Paramedics were called to Bruce Highway and Warner Road at 7.03pm Thursday, after a male patient was reportedly bitten by a snake. The man was transported to Cairns Hospital in a stable condition.
