Toowoomba gives verdict on new chocolate Vegemite
CADBURY'S fusion of two iconic brands has hit the shelves of Toowoomba.
The new Cadbury Dairy Milk with Vegemite had many questioning the combination of the two, so The Chronicle hit the streets to find out what people thought.
Many were sceptical to try the two conflicting tastes together, with some getting a mouthful of Vegemite taste, and others unable to taste it at all.
Toowoomba resident Emmi Langdale liked the chocolate, she thought it tasted more like salted caramel.
While Jake Challener was disgusted with the taste, condemning the mixture of two flavours that should never be together.
Cadbury describes its newest block as dairy milk chocolate with smooth flowing caramel and Vegemite.
