UPDATE: Crash truck driver suffered 'bowel obstruction'

UPDATE: A TRUCK driver involved in an early morning crash in Warwick reportedly suffered a bowel obstruction and passed out at the wheel.
The man in his 50s remains in Toowoomba Hospital.

8.30AM: A TRUCK driver has had a lucky escape after running off the road and ploughing into a paddock in Warwick overnight.
The Wickham Freightlines truck ran off the road and came to rest in a paddock on the corner of Bracker Rd and the New England Hwy at 1am.
The truck reportedly ploughed through a fence and timber stockyards, taking out at least one tree and narrowly missing a horse in the paddock.
The driver, a man in his 50's, was taken to Warwick Hospital with minor injuries.
