UPDATE: What caused the McDowall St crash

UPDATE, 6.50pm:

Two people have been booked in relation to a traffic crash that occurred on the corner of McDowall and Gregory Streets in Roma after 5pm on March 16.

Roma police Senior Constable Lea Warren said there were two cars crash on the intersection, including a Nissan Nevara.

A Mitsubishi Lancer sedan was also involved and sustained damage to the front.

“A traffic infringement notice was issued for fail to give way at an intersection with a give way sign,” Constable Warren said.

One of the drivers was also given an infringement notice for failing to produce a driver’s licence while on his red Ps.

EARLIER:

A car has crashed on McDowall Street in Roma during the wet weather.

Emergency services were on the scene to assess the incident where a Mitsubishi Lancer sustained damage to the front of the car and the bonnet just after 5pm today, March 16.

Roma Police are on scene investigating the incident and talking to witnesses.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said one woman has been taken to the Roma Hospital as precaution.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services also attended.
