Ute loses load in highway crash

A FULLY-LOADED ute has caused delays on the Warrego Highway this morning after crashing into a guard rail.

Police say the ute was loaded with household items when it crashed on the west-bound lanes at Tivoli, about 6am.

The load was strewn across the road as a result of the crash, with police calling on Brisbane Traffic Management to assist in the clean up.

Police say they received several calls from the public as a result of the incident, which was reported about one kilometre prior to the Brassall exit.

The ute was eventually towed from the scene.
