This comes after the Bureau of Meteorology issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the Maranoa Wednesday, January 6.

Residents were advised that severe thunderstorms were likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds.

BOM states it’s very likely Roma will experience a severe thunderstorm later this morning.
