Wet weather expected for Charleville

THE Bureau of Meteorology has forecast wet weather for Charleville this weekend.

Forecaster Rosa Hoff said there will be some light rain passing through town on Saturday.

“For Charleville, we’re forecasting 0-5mm for Saturday and we might see an extra millimetre overnight before Sunday,” she said.

“Better chance of rain is Saturday because Charleville’s in an area with rain west of it.

“We’re expecting storms to be in the region on the weekend too.”

Ms Hoff said Roma and St George will also experience rain as the clouds head east.

The chance of rain on Saturday is 60% and for Sunday it is 30%, according to the BOM website.
