Sprinkler lands woman in court

BREAKING the police station's sprinkler has a 35-year-old Cunnamulla woman facing court, charged with wilful damage.

Police allege the woman was sitting on the station steps, when she picked up the plastic sprinkler and threw it at the steps and the footpath, smashing the item to pieces.

She will front the Cunnamulla Magistrates Court on June 3.

Drug testing triple treat for road unit

POSITIVE results on roadside drug tests in Cunnamulla have landed three men in hot water, and one has already been charged.

The Road Policing Command and Roadside Drug Testing Unit were operating around the region last week, picking up a 25-year-old New South Wales man, a 39-year-old from Toowoomba, and a 24-year-old local for alleged drug driving.

While the 25-year-old has been issued with a Notice to Appear in Cunnamulla Magistrates Court on July 23, Police are awaiting further drug test results before they are able to charge the other two drivers.

Vehicular menace to front court

AFTER deliberately swerving into the path of another car, a Cunnamulla man was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

The 56-year-old male was caught by police driving dangerously on Wednesday last week.

He will appear in the Cunnamulla Magistrates Court on June 3
