Woman breaks into Charleville home, assaults and robs victim

A CHARLEVILLE woman has endured a terrifying ordeal where her home was allegedly broken into before she was assaulted.

On Saturday, December 12 Charleville police were called to an Edward St address after reports a fight had erupted at the home.

Police allege they observed a 43-year-old Charleville woman out of the front property hurling abuse towards the victim, and occupant of the home who was inside at the time.

The female offender was arrested for public nuisance.

Police will also allege the female offender entered the home of the victim female and physically assaulted her prior to officers arriving on the scene.

She was also charged with assault occasioning bodily harm, commit public nuisance, burglary and commit indictable offence.

The alleged offender was bailed from the Charleville watch house and is to front the Charleville Magistrates Court at a later date.
