
Woman charged over Gracemere crash
MONDAY 7AM: A WOMAN has been charged following a single vehicle crash in Gracemere yesterday afternoon.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the woman, 31, had been charged with one count each of unlicensed driving and driving without due care and attention.
She was taken to Rockhampton Hospital after the crash for further treatment and blood tests.
The woman is scheduled to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on January 16.
UPDATE 5.05PM: POLICE, fire and ambulance crews are now at the scene of a single vehicle crash on Cherryfield Rd, Gracemere.
Reports indicate a Barina, which is reportedly a hire car from the Brisbane Airport, has left the road and crashed.
A woman who police believe is heavily intoxicated, is being treated by QAS.

INITIAL 5PM: POLICE are proceeding to Gracemere following reports of a possible serious crash.
Initial information suggests a person has been ejected from a vehicle in a single vehicle crash on Cherryfield Rd.
Reports indicate one person is being treated by Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics.
It is unclear at this stage if the person is seriously injured.
