Woman crashes into letterbox, trees and barb wire fence
A WOMAN believed to be under the influence of alcohol has crashed into a letterbox, a bunch of trees and then a barb wire fence on Booral Rd.
Sergeant Darryn Morris from Hervey Bay Police Station said a blood sample has been sent away for testing after the woman crashed a yellow Suzuki Liana on Thursday.
It is believed the woman crashed into a letterbox before colliding with a number of trees and fence, ending at Tanzi Place Sunshine Acres.
The crash happened at 6.20pm.
Other dangerous drivers caught out overnight:
- 36-year-old Torquay woman caught just before 1am Friday with a blood alcohol reading of 0.08.
- 32-year-old blows 0.121 after being caught at 4.15am Friday for travelling an alleged 80km in a 60 zone in Urangan.
- Two caught driving without a licence overnight.
