Woman in hospital after hit by car outside police station

UPDATE: A woman struck by a car outside the Toowoomba police station has been taken to hospital.

Queensland Ambulance paramedics transported the woman in a stable condition to Toowoomba Hospital about 3.45pm.

The woman suffered injuries to her wrist and hand.

2.30PM: Paramedics are assessing a woman struck by a car outside the Toowoomba police station.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said crews were on scene assessing the woman after she was reportedly hit by a car about 2.05pm.

The incident occurred outside the Hume St police station.

The woman is believed to have suffered a hand and wrist injury.

Emergency services remain on scene.
