Woman killed in crash outside Innot Hot Springs

A 50-year-old woman has died and an 8-year-old boy injured in a crash about 5km east of Innot Hot Springs yesterday.

The pair were travelling along the Kennedy Highway around 3:15pm until their vehicle left the highway and collided with trees.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene while the boy received only minor injuries. 

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
