Woman speaks after viral ScoMo reaction

Scott Morrison can probably still feel the daggers in his back after the viral reaction from a Parramatta official inside the Eels' dressing room on Saturday night.

The Prime Minister was on hand at Bankwest Stadium to see his beloved Sharks go down 28-4 to Parramatta as Cronulla was ravaged by injury, finishing without a single player on the bench.

But Morrison wasn't harbouring any ill-will towards the Eels, visiting the victorious changeroom after full-time to congratulate the winners.

He was warmly received the players, but not everyone in the room was happy to see the 52-year-old.

The Fox League broadcast cameras inside the dressing room captured the moment Eels sports scientist Tahleya Eggers scowled at Morrison as he made his way through the room.

The blunt look on her face saw an image of the video spread across the internet.

It was also the source behind several creative memes that had people on Twitter chuckling away.

On Sunday the story took another turn when Eggers confirmed the assessment from eagle-eyed fans on Twitter that she was less than pleased to see Morrison.

"Proud to claim this one," Eggers wrote on Twitter.

"I will not respect a man who has the time to shake hands of men who have won a football match but is 'too busy' to attend the March for Justice."

The Daily Telegraph reported Sunday the Eels reviewed Eggers' public comments and made a decision not to hand down any sanction because she shared her personal views.

"Tahleya was responding to a social meme that was not of her making," an Eels spokesman said in the report.

"The club is comfortable with her clarifying her personal position and we consider the matter now closed."

Eggers deleted her responding tweet on Sunday.

Her scowl came after Morrison had just minutes earlier knocked back an offer from Eels star Reed Mahoney to skol a beer with the players.

Mahoney looked like a kid on Christmas morning, clapping his hands, roaring and pumping his fists, determined that peer pressure would encourage Morrison to chug.

He was let down, though, as the politician took only a small sip, but the rest of the Eels were up on their feet cheering along anyway.
