Young woman booked after Roma Warrego Hwy rollover
A woman who was fortunate to survive a southwest highway crash with only minor injuries has been given a ticket by the police.
The young woman rolled her car multiple times on the Warrego Highway west of Roma at 4.44pm on March 14.
“A 22-year-old female is lucky to be alive after a single vehicle crash in her gold Nissan pulsar in Bungil,” Roma police Constable Rory Akermanis said.
“She was taken to hospital for observations.”
The vehicle ploughed into a tree.
Constable Akermanis said the woman was given an infringement notice for not having proper control of the vehicle.
He said charges could still be laid.
